The town of Burton Upon Trent is, as its name implies, on the River Trent in central England. The town's central position is perfect for exploring when driving cheap car rental in Burton Upon Trent Downtown. The downtown precinct has lots of traditional pubs which serve local brews produced by Marstons and Burton Bridge Brewery.

Due to the high salt content of local water, Burton Upon Trent is a heritage beer producing town and was already exporting ales in the late Middle Ages. The National Brewery Center depicts the town's history of brewing and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the region.
