Sicily car hire 121

I booked online with a price comparison site. Actually I didn't book the first time but came back on another day and noticed that 121 was still the cheapest. I was a bit wary having not neard of them but thought I'd give it a try. It was good that everything was easy to book, and the detail very clear, including responsibilities of both parties. Arriving at the airport the handover was very easy and because the website had warned that the credit card would be used as indemnity I was prepared for that and had taken out the additional insurance (which fortunately I did not need, though I haven't had final confirmation that all is in order having had to return the car before the office opened). I was also a little worred about drop off as we had to be at the airport by 5.00 for the pre flight check in (Ryanair at Trapani) but the drop box facility worked well. Also at that time in the morning there were no petrol stations open and we had to drive from very near Palermo (100km) but the petrol was to return at the same level as it went out (which was 7/8 full) so this clearly a problem which is anticipated. The car had about 27k on the clock but was well presented and drove well (again no problems). As a result of having had no problems I can say that this was a very good deal at a very reasonable price. Clearly I have no idea (thank goodness) how effective things would be if something did go wrong.

Rent from 121carhiere in Sicily

We rent a car from them for a week in Sicily paid deposit £14 when booked the rest of the balance after when we returned the car.After many bad reviews from people we was not sure which company we have to use as most of them got more bad as good reviews.We decide to rent with them and that was good choice as was easy and without any problem.When we get Sicily we got brand new Peugeot 208 diesel with 6,000 km on clock which was very economical and drove perfect.On collection of the car we checked the body condition with one of the Staff and marked all small dents and scratches as was a few of them,same was when we drooped the car again check out with Staff and the sign in NO NEW DAMAGE.At collection time they hold 1200 Euro on my credit card but money was released just after when we brought car back and paid for rent.All with the Rent was ok without any strees.:)

best deal

this was easily the best deal I coudl find on cars in Italy. The car itself exceeded my expectation. was brand new and unmmarked, the service (via AVIS) was godo and professional, so overall a very good experience

Excellent - Will use again

Brand new audi A1 when expecting a ford KA or similar so really pleased. Bit of a wait to collect at Rome airport but service otherwise great.

CAR HIRE (BUDGET) AT PISA

EASY TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT TO HIRE DESK AREA. WAS NICE TO BE GIVEN A CHOICE OF CAR EITHER FIAT 500 or VW UP (5 DOOR). CHOSED THE VW UP LOVELY DRIVE AND PLENTY OR ROOM FOR LUGGAGE. RETURN OF CAR NO PROBLEM AND HAPPY WITH THE OVERALL SERVICE. CAR DROVE LOVELY AND IT FITTED IN WITH OTHER ITALIAN CARS ON THE ROAD BUT NOT SO SURE ABOUT THE CRAZYNESS OF THE ITALIANS DRIVING TECHNIQUES. MOST WERE ALL TO KEEN TO OVERTAKE ON BENDS AND DRIVE RIGHT UP TO YOUR REAR BUMPER HOOTING AWAY LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW.

Everything went smoothly

We rented a car for the week, at Naples Airport. The price was extremely good, and the overall service was excellent. The only quibbles we had were that the car was supposed to have air conditioning and didn't, but the weather was cool so it was no problem. Otherwise, everythng went smoothly. Communications were clear and everything was as it was supposed to be.

this was my first time driving abroard,and i was a bit apprehensive to what i should expect,so when i went to pick u my vehicle it was a nice surprise to find how smooth and efficiently the staff were in geting me on the road.Then i was impressed in the vehicle i was given,and on return,even tho it was obvious it was a busy day for the returning staff,they dealt with me with speed and courtesy,i would use and recommend you to my friends.Thank all for makeing my first experience a memorable one.Thank you to 121 carhire for an expert service. Good Service, Good car, Good deal

I searched a number of different sites and 121 was one of the cheapest. Easy to book, no hidden extras, and fast efficient service at the Budget desk at Pisa airport. Collected a 4 door punto ( which was better car than i expected to get for price)which was very low mileage. Quick, easy drop off on way home. Would definitely recommend 121 and will certainly use them again.

quick service

great feeling coming off the plane only with hand baggage as not to wait for suitcase as we walked straight to the hire desk ,10 mins and we were gone , but unfortunately there are queues and after all your on holiday, returned the car full and upon inspection there was none of this suspicous damage that you were going to have to pay for ,an odd mark here,and a scratch there, this is one of my pet hates, take out the xtra car insurance prior so its safer and cheaper , dont buy it at the desk all in all we have used his site 4 times and never had a problem, but never let your guard down with rental companies , thats honest other than that brill experience ,happy travel ....travellers

Car hire for Lake Como

We needed a comfortable car for 3 long-legged (and 1 short legged) person and were provided with a Peugeot 508 diesel by 121's rental partner Maggiore at Milan Malpensa airport. It was an excellent car - in all but one respect (more later) - with very good air con, boot capacity, handling etc. The Maggiore staff were extremely helpful, sorting out the child locks (we needed them off), and letting us park in their area when we were at the airport to pick up a late arriving guest. There were no hidden extras, as promised. :-) Our only reservation is that driving around the narrow, windy roads of Lake Como in such a big car was rather hair-raising! The car hire website couldn't have known that was what we would be doing for most of the time, so it's our mistake, but we would recommend smaller cars for Lake Como! We got very good mileage from the car and it was wonderful on the wider Swiss roads and to & from Milan!

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
