Car rental location Grafton Airport

Location information for Grafton Airport

The Clarence Valley Regional Airport is the air facility serving the City of Grafton in New South Wales, Australia so it is also known as the Grafton Airport. It is a public facility operated by the Clarence Valley Council. Grafton is the commercial center of the Clarence River Valley.

Grafton as a city features many historical buildings along its tree-lined streets, easily explored with a car hire at Grafton Airport. With a cheap car hire at Grafton Airport, you can check out the Christ Church Cathedral and the Schaeffer House.

Get a car rental at Grafton Airport and you can also easily take part in the regular festivals and events that draw in crowds every year, like the Grafton Cup Horserace and the Jacaranda Festival. The Jacaranda Festival is actually the reason why Grafton is also called the Jacaranda City.

Jacarandas are the trees lining the streets of Grafton and the festival is held every year around late October to early November when the trees are in full bloom. A street parade and local public holiday is included in the festival.

The Grafton Airport is one of the means you can get into the city and enjoy such beautiful views of the Jacarandas. It's a fairly small facility though so there are very few flights operating out of the airport. Some of the regular trips offered at the Grafton Airport are served by Regional Express for Sydney and Taree.
